Last year, it didn't seem lke confidence. It seemed hard to
get the bat around on pitches coming in fast. I think the speed of the game at the plate gave her issues. And then hits were more so weak off the bat. I know she worked on getting stronger, recognizing pitches faster, getting the bat around to make good contact.
OF course, her AVg at the beginning of this season was not sustainable.
