Well, to be fair, not friendly means "not friendly."

"Not friendly" is the absence of friendliness. So they're not necessarily rude or abrasive or abusive, they're just "not friendly." Whereas other fan bases have been. Fans of other schools will invite you over for some tailgate food, they'll discuss the game with you, etc. But Stanford's fans don't do that, so they're "not friendly." 😅

Stanford is a very, very good team. They are not easy to like, however.
