You don't get better by replacing your seniors. Trinity, Rachel and Emily will do a great job stepping up. What makes a program better than the last, however, is the cumulative effect of everyone raising their game. If you do a decent job of replacing a few starters and combine that with 7-8 regulars also raising their game, you tend to come out ahead. Add to that another dozen who fight their a$$es off and force those regulars to keep earning their spot in the lineup and then you've really got something going! It certainly won't hurt to have a couple of pitchers dominate the circle either!
