should be candidates to generate some decent offensive production. But it’s gonna be damn difficult to “replace” the top 3 of the batting order (Ritter, Greene, and ***an). I don’t know how someone like Lyla Blackwell is used next year. Starting OF and slapper, ala Kelsey Brown? Or more of an occasional DP and pinch runner type? It’s just hard to imagine someone other than Ritter leading off. But someone will. I’m sure Chip can provide much better insight than I can, but those are my thoughts anyway.
