Honestly, it’s a bit early to predict, but that’s what fans do, right? I expect that well a player or two from the transfer portal will arrive and you never know how that plays out (although Cori McMillan turned out okay this season). 😂 Rachel Castine should be back at 100% so that should be big - although we need to temper expectations just a bit as her start to the season was simply crazy. We have a solid group of recruits coming in - Jayden Jones and Jordan Lynch are both Top 10 recruits but sometimes it’s the unheralded ones that make the smooth transition to college (see Michelle Chatfield). PLUS, there's the likelihood that some of this year's players return in the fall bigger, stronger, faster, and much improved. Just think about the improvement this season of Rachel, Maija Louko, and Trinity Martin just to name a few. Returning players now have a good idea of what playing at this level requires and their exit meetings with the coaches gave them suggestions on what to work on during the offseason. Fall ball should be very interesting.
