Does the football brand carry over to softball? They had a winning record their first year! With all first-year players. Or was the transfer portal available back then and they used it? I don't think NIL was available then. I'm beginning to think that the word "Tech" in a university name drives some people (athletes) away. I jsut asked ChatGPT what universities have "Tech" in their name and it gave me a list. The list did NOT include Virginia Tech. I asked a second question of why it did not include Virginia Tech. It came back and said "I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to exclude Virginia Tech. It’s also a great university with the word Tech in its name. I just gave some examples from the search results, but there are many more. You can find Virginia Tech in the second search result, along with other U.S. technological universities. 😊 We seem to always be in the second list.
