She’d throw an offspeed drop or high rise, and having no margin for error, the batter would chase it every time. Typically Mazz throws a couple balls hoping they swing. Then she’s behind in the count and has to be perfect to get them or they walk. Which she does get them, the reason she’s second in the league in Ks but first in BB.
