Question about all this mess going forward....if a court says the GOR
is not enforceable or invalid (FSU/ACC), does this open up lawsuits from schools in other conferences? Probably not those in the P2 because of the amount each school will be receiving from the media deals is so large.....BUT....does that also open the gates of relegation of schools that aren't carrying their weight for these P2 conferences (Vandy, Northwesern, Wake, etc)?

IF the ACC GOR is found to not be enforceable because of facts limited to the ACC.....fraudulent inducement, etc.....then the other GOR's would be unaffected.

The question is are these 2 things legally sound, and if so, what are the boundaries that surround them. The no boundaries for College Football are being questioned by many, just like they questioned NIL. I expect more of that is coming for these two issues.

There is no diversity of citizenship and no federal question so far. The Supreme Court would take a case from a state Supreme Court only if there was a Constitutional or other federal issue.

Conferences. I am sure the TV networks would like to see that happen. I never thought it was realistic, but without the GOR, it becomes possible.

I just see how that is possible, either legally or politically. Vandy and NW would also have UTenn and Illinois going to bat for them as well, even if someone found a way.

proposed by the NCAA, if that were to go through. I will repeat it’s a long shot, likely they relegate themselves IMHO.

This whole re organization is to anoint somewhere around 30 ish teams, get the $$$ to go with them and once in lock the door behind them. TV has no use for having someone they have promoted as a "national" program to stumble and less interest in anyone not anointed to have a way to "earn" anything. Now the anointed P2 may well cull some of their own as well.
