I'd be very happy with Oregon, Washington, ASU, Utah, and either Stanford or Cal (maybe both).
Stanford would get the nod for sure, if ND agrees to allow that as a sixth ACC game, and not part of the five. If not, then I am not sure which one. I'm not sure Cal actually likes football.

TBH I think I'd rather be in the Big 12 than the ACC if I was those teams. Granted the ACC has better name brand programs right now with Clemson/FSU/Miami, but realistically all of those teams really want to be in the Big 10/SEC. Joining the Big 12 still leaves that door open. The ACC with the big GoR does not.

Give them a deal that, if the B10 wants them both, they can go, but with a big exit fee. Otherwise, they are in the GOR.
That would be good for the ACC, because we would get a bunch of big match ups with ACC teams in the meanwhile (plus Oregon vs Washington). We would also get that west coast late broadcast time slot. All that would certainly increase our TV deal.
We could probably also do this including Stanford, assuming ND agrees to a sixth ACC game with them every year.

Why would FSU and Clemson allow a sweetheart deal for UO and UW?
If it is decidedly more money for all the ACC schools, then great. But I don't think it will be enough to mollify FSU.

All of the field logos, jersey patches, etc will need to be dynamic digital logos now so they can change the number as teams move in and out of the conference annually.

consensus seems to be Washington and Oregon are headed to the B10. Arizona and Utah to Big 12. May not be much left of PAC by start of 2024 season.

You don’t go to 13. It’s at least 14. But the Big XII can’t just take teams to take them. That’s why there’s no SD State or UConn at this point.

Having an even number of teams is not necessary anymore since the rule
changed about having the same amount of teams in each division to hold a title game. In fact, getting rid of divisions.
So yeah, I would not take an additional team that you otherwise wouldn't take just to have an even amount.

To your point, adding 5 Pac12 schools to get to 19 in football actually works for the ACC. So I agree on the even number thang. Just going off what I heard Yormark say

plays the same number of conference games in a given season. If a conference decides to play 8 conference games, then I do think there are certain membership numbers that become more mathematically problematic when you start to factor in the protected conference games. The same would be true for 7 conference games, 9 conference games, and even 10 conference games.

Maybe a Washington State as a near by school in order to also get Gonzaga for basketball. But that’s just a guess by me.
