I know doesn’t help tv mkt - but MD, WVU and Cincy would be great acc adds
I’m not sure “markets” matter as much anymore now that most people stream and/or have access to all games through stream/satellite. I wonder what % of college sports are viewed on cable anymore

They meet the geography footprint and there are a long time rival with VT and, to some extent, with UVA. Plus, they have a history of having a good football program. With the Big 12 expansion, it now may be too late.

Both might appreciate the reduction in travel and make the move. The B12 looks to be about the same as the ACC to me from here on, though, so the travel wear and tear might be the only thing that gets it done.

They’re the pimple on the right cheek of that footprint and will need that conference $ for travel costs to west coast for those 4 schools

It'd be like grabbing Troy and saying, "Hey, we're in on the football mad state of Alabama!" Eh, not really.

Heck, they might have a difficult time winning the Pac-4.
