Starting talking the teams up, and no more Lunardi coming out in April and saying only 4 teams are getting into the dance. The Acc can be a sleeping giant. It's time to act like it. With revenue incentives will the networks start thinking they are overpaying the Big 10 and the Sec? Why not let them go to the same format. I can see the Acc, if they play things right catching up with the P2. This could be a great, landscape altering move for the Acc. it has to be done like the NCAA units where it accumulates over several years (perhaps they agreed to look backwards?). No way AD's would agree to have no idea how much money they can budget for year in and year out within some reasonable margin for error .

...challenge in the revenue sports, bringing more cash to the table for those games? If not that, how about more OOC matchups to start the season. That should definitely bring in more revenue to the teams playing those games, and they should be outside of (or in addition to) the ESPN/ACC contract, right? Frankly the ACC - SEC basketball challenge should bring in more cash.

schools think they need to make as much as the Big10, or it's bust, is stupid.

The Big Ten has members with stadiums seating over 100 thousand seats. We don't have that, and cannot make more due to that alone. We never have to my knowledge.

getting ripped off. If FSU for example can't compete unless you give them another 30M a year? maybe they are in the wrong business. The Ohio states of the world were making millions before they even thought of having a program, and they won National championships when the Blue Bloods were making 10 times more then them. The SEC is the benchmark for competing for a National Championship, not the Big10 media deal, or the teams that went to the SEC or Big10. I'm telling anyone that will listen, start winning and filling up your stadiums, make the playoffs, and you will be fine. BC isn't holding VT back, nor are they holding FSU back. Take a look at what UCF did with their media budget - undefeated seasons, a new stadium, and premier bowl games. They sure as hell didn't have a $60M media contract to accomplish those things. What set them apart? What set Cincinnati apart? Clemson, TCU, Boise State, Oregon, ... the list is endless depending on how far back you want to go.

Teams that can afford it will tell boosters to fund NIL versus the school. Teams without that level of funding won't be able to compete for recruits.

Looks like you didn't even read the whole two line post. Boosters can donate to the school and/or NIL. Media money goes to the school. For sake of argument, assume all schools have equally funded boosters. Schools with more media money direct boosters to donate greater percentage to NIL. More money available to recrui...uhhh, I mean for "NIL" Non P2 conference boosters should just donate more to make up for less media money? - I guess they can also just eat cake if they don't have any bread... I'm a supply/demand, survival of the fittest type guy - if the market doesn't support an ACC that has competitive teams, so be it, but "just cut a check" is naive.
