B1G he's saying Oregon, Cal, Stanford and Washington and 4 corners to B12.
Four corners being Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado and Utah. There is some possibility that the B12 takes San Diego State instead of Utah to get into the Southern California market. Very scary times for some schools in the PAC. ** Edited by Stech at 8/25/2022, 9:34:12 AM

SDSU may have the upper hand on Utah
SDSU is only 120 miles south of USC and would get the Big 12 into Southern California, and I’m not sure taking two schools from the same area in Utah makes sense. Utah’s success on the field will make it a difficult decision as to who is invited if expansion actually happens.

If the Pac-12 collapses, they could just take both.
Utah, Colorado, Arizona, Arizona State, San Diego State, Boise State, Oregon State, and Washington State would get the Big 12 to 20 schools.

What do think about espn cmt on acc
1 espn no 2 said in. Interview that espn spent alot of upfront $$$ to create the accn and it needs a long time to replace investment. Therefore it is not good for espn to see acc collapse or any of their conference partners try to add acc members. Further he said to the sec that adding any acc members will not at all increase rights and they will be forced to even reduce allotment per school. Acc is the no 1 basketball product in us. I think espn might encourage big 12 to take 4 pac 12 first ariz arizon state utah and co. And second phase wash st and oregon st- ( assume oregon wash cal and standford to big 10. I think espn might promote wv central florida and cincinatti and iowa st to acc. He mention they are working on some ideas to increase $$$ to the espn fees to the acc. One thing is go to 9 games might trigger different $$ This is interesting - the same schools that want more espn $$ fsu Clemson - along with gt and Louisville are the ones who object to 9 game schedule and were willing to walk over that.. hmmm Any opinion??

They have invested a lot of money, and I do think people are underrating 🏀
More and more think it will break off from paying the NCAA , but not necessarily break away from other Conferences, much like the playoff will include teams from non Power Conferences,

Will the ACC still dominate bball 50M/yr behind? I personally doubt it

B12 should work the back channels to get the ACC
to add WVU & Cinncinatti, maybe even UCF, so that they can add schools and keep all of theirs west of the Mississippi. Baylor, OkState, Houston, TCU, Iowa State, Kansas, K-State, BYU Texas Tech are hold overs. Arizona, ASU, Colorado, Washington State, Oregon State, Utah or San Diego State make 16. Add in Boise State, Nevada, SMU & Fresno, SMU or Memphis to round it out at 20. Big12 After Dark on ESPN.

Utah fans feel they are too superior to join the Big12
Not sure if they will have any other option.
