SDSU may have the upper hand on Utah

SDSU is only 120 miles south of USC and would get the Big 12 into Southern California, and I’m not sure taking two schools from the same area in Utah makes sense. Utah’s success on the field will make it a difficult decision as to who is invited if expansion actually happens.

If the Pac-12 collapses, they could just take both.
