In a divisionless ACC would we play 8 or 9 league games?

The large endowment schools in the ACC, may not want that to happen. This board is mainly focused on football/sports, but the Academic side for money as I know you are aware, dwarfs football/sports. Thus it might be a lot harder than people think to break up the ACC before the GOR expires.

you play. Yes there should be a Conference minimum too, but I would take less Conference Games if we made them up with other P5 games. I think it’s more important for rankings to make sure you play 10+ P5 games. It also puts some teeth into the scheduling part of the Alliance.
No offense to Wake because IMHO Clawson has “developed†a perennial top 25 program, but I would rather play WVU every year even if in the B12, than WFU every year. However, that’s probably just me.

Or let them count their ND game as an ACC conference game (this is better, actually).
I think their problem is really that, in some years, they play an SEC game PLUS their ND game, leaving them with almost no schedule flexibility, which they understandably don't want.

ACCN needs all the help they can get with programming. It's being limited by OOC games against the SEC.

If 10 vote yes and 4 vote no, you would think that would be enough. But there may be mini alliances that scuttle the vote too.

I think they are still waiting to see if ND makes a decision anytime soon. They definintely would not want 9.

While the ACC only has 8 games. I dont think alot of people realize how much this impacts the tv deal.
