I’m perplexed. What is the ACC strategy here if just the two schools?

I know that I’m hoping the ACC has some grand plan to justify this. Something similar to the BIG where we all knew that expansion would be more than just two west coast schools. But if the ACC is legitimately only considering Cal and Stanford then it really makes no sense. Why do it? If anything, it will just piss off FSU and Clemson even more when they have to spend more money and time to travel out there. Plus the non rev impacts.
