but without a PAC merger that ESPN pays substantially more money to the ACC, expect magnificent 7 or now some calling the Elite 8, the ACC is sinking and expect more to announce the same thing. How much water comes in the boat before schools are more scared of missing the next boat and jump to it? I know some don’t want to see the PAC and now the ACC end, but you can’t ignore what is happening, because it’s happening so fast!! The bottom line is ESPN and Fox don’t so far want to help the ACC and PAC, so like it or not (and I don’t like it) schools need to look for a new home, and the truth is at least the Elite 8 already has been looking. This past 7-10 days, that has become way more urgent.
