It’s about ESPN cutting expenses, they won’t be paying some of the schools.

7-8 from the ACC won’t be paid or are paid less overall, maybe more if some go to the B1G. Same with the PAC, they will only be paying them if they go to an ESPN league. Since two and probably more are going to the B1G, it’s a similar thing. It saves them money.
