Know for the ACC.

1. ACC has Pro Rata in our contract. That means any new additions make same as existing schools, but to open up for renegotiation have to add at least 2. 2. Right now the ACC Network is expected to be $10 million per year per school as it is. 3. The new state part is related to the ACC Network Subscribers. It's advantageous to the ACC. Doesn't matter to the Big XII, although adding time zones helps the Big XII deal to enable more time slots for their Television Partners. 4 It does make sense for the ACC to add far away to accomplish the subscriber increase, but it's not good for the kids. There is a trade off. 5. Adding more than one from a state works if there is a national rivalry. Adding Texas/Texas A&M would be a good one. Adding Stanford/Cal is another. 6. We get about 75 cents per subscriber per month for the ACC Network in a state where we have a team. If each team is already getting $10 million per year, that's $150 million per year for the conference. That means we need state with at least 4 million cable subscribers because ESPN takes their cut. This gets us to status quo. Need more to increase. So California, Texas, Arizona, Washington, someone from Ohio, Tennessee, etc. work. And you can mix a small state in with a big state.
