Everyone here wants WVU...why?

I understand that they have a rivalry with Tech and Pitt, but is WVU the key to getting ESPN/Disney to kick in more revenue to better monetize the ACCN and close the gap with the Big 10 and the SEC. Of course not! West Virginia does not have the population to warrant an increase in "local" subscriber fees that will financially make them viable. You shoot down Cincinnati, SMU and Baylor. I know that the revenue that "local" subscriber charges for the ACCN in Ohio and Texas are well worth expansion into those states. In fact, I support expansion into California, Arizona, Colorado, Texas and Ohio to bring in much more revenue. ** Edited by CobbCountyHokie at 8/12/2022, 11:56:21 AM
