ACC Big East Merger still being discussed

This was on Espn again this morning. Coach K and Rick Pitino still pushing this. Thought is this would be a true promotion/relegation league. Top 14 teams from both leagues play each other with 5 -7 games against lower league teams. Each year bottom 4 teams are relegated to lower league and 4 promoted. Thought is both leagues are hurting now more than ever and need to merge to compete and get more NCAA bids. Plus would be able to manufacture some great tv match ups and better quality wins.
