Why FSU (and Clemson) was looking at the B10 (and not the SEC)

Since someone said the SEC would take FSU/Clemson before UNC... 1. I am of the opinion that FSU is eyeing the B10. I suspect Warren already had a word in FSU's ear. I also suspect he had communicated to Oregon and Washington so they dragged their feet in the P12 media deal negotiation. These are just my speculation. But listen to what FSU Board of Trustees Chair Peter Collins said.
Mr. Collins indicated that FSU's serious efforts commenced not when OK and TX exited but rather when news regarding USC and UCLA emerged (around the 37-minute mark). He also hinted that geography might not be as crucial as finances in their decision-making process (around 49 minute mark). These are his words, not mine. 2. Therefore, I doubt ESPN is behind FSU's legal challenge. At present, ESPN likely prefers FSU to remain in the ACC. It raises the question: Should ESPN reward FSU's bad behavior? 3. But more importantly, I think the BIG/FOX want FSU more. My understanding is that the BTN is not available in Florida and deep South. If the BIG were to add FSU and Clemson, it could prompt local cable companies in FL/GA/SC to start carrying BTN. This, in my view, presents a significant financial incentive. This was my post back in January on another site. Since then, it seems like the Big Ten is getting cold feet (or realized that the lawsuit is dragging on for so long.).

It will be about the money. FSU might not be a "good partner." But did

I just don't see FSU as a cultural fit at all. If they want in Florida
