Every conference outside the SEC and B1G should leave them. Cut bait.

They’re not inviting 12-24 more teams because the schools will lose a ton of money in revenue sharing. Don’t schedule them in football especially or honestly any sports. All other conferences have inventory. The SEC and B1G have 33 possible opponents if everybody else leaves them. Host our own 64 team basketball tournament that the “P2” absolutely cannot host with 34 teams. Host a 16 team football playoff with teams that are 11-1 and 10-2 while they have 7-5 Missouri playing 8-4 Iowa in a first round game. WOW, ratings material right there. Can’t wait to watch that game… Host our own baseball, soccer, softball, you name it tournaments. Eff them in the a and make them come back to us. It will never happen but it absolutely would work. Their money advantage only works while they can buy wins against the poor. Take that away from them. ** Edited by hokieZ71 at 10/10/2024, 7:00:08 PM

Wouldn't the P2 then start offering some of the top

If the P2 break off, isn't that the same?

Yes, and I think it's one of the reasons

And that's why I don't think a P2 breakaway is in the cards

100% agree. last night I was watching the news, and

While I agree with the sentiment

It would also put P2 expansion into high gear, IMO.

We don't need leverage with football.
