Under the current DI structure, a P5 Playoff would violate antitrust laws.

It wouldn't take much for a court injunction to bring the P5 Playoff to a halt before it even got off the ground. Hence why I'm suggesting that the FBS postseason would likely revert back to a known way that has worked in the past until a new contract could be put into place.
