There's a disturbance in the Force (re: FSU and Clemson leaving the ACC)

Was listening to the Flugaur show today, and he pumped the brakes on his own predictions. For weeks it's been the "chalk" that FSU and Clemson are coming to the B1G. But out of nowhere today he says he is "taking the L" and taking the betting line "off the board." So basically all these FSU fanboi YouTubers and podcasters were saying "FSU will announce by June 30 or sometime this summer" might have had a dose of reality heaped upon them. Apparently you can't name it and claim it or speak it into existence like they thought. I'm just reading between the lines here, but I think some Big Ten sources got a hold of Flugs and told him to stand down. Here's a summary (I listened so you don't have to). 1. Both the B1G and SEC are looking at UNC and ND FIRST. 2. After adding the west coast teams and with all the court, legislative and business turmoil, the B1G suddenly just wants to relax and let everything settle for a while. 3. Even one Penn State contributor said PSU is a NO vote on FSU for now. 4. Big Ten legal counsel won't even let the conference vet FSU and Clemson. 5. Not that FSU and Clemson won't end up there, but it is likely going to be longer than the rash, entitled, FSU firebrands are going to be happy about. Anyway, take it for what it's worth (pure speculation all over the place). But I thought the nearly abrupt stop on this was worth mentioning to y'all. ** Edited by Maroon Baboon at 6/15/2024, 11:57:19 PM
