Just been catching up with a lot of the rumors around the demise of the ACC
Some of the stuff out there is pretty funny like the "Locked on B12" guy talking like they are almost equal to the P2. They are not and have nothing the P2 wants period. I would hate for us to end up there because they are at best a stable minor league.
Very interesting on UVA including Thamel's ranking them as #2 team behind UNC for either of the P2. Is their "public ivy" status worth a lot more when they are not needed athletically?
To me the one thread is that is pretty constant is with neither of the P2 in the NOVA, VA. NC market area that market area has more value than UVA, VT, UNC or NCSU individually.
So one of my special observations, the SEC can screw up everything by offering VT, UVA, UNC and NCSU all at one time. That would not only create a presence in the NOVA/VA/NC market for the SEC, it would lock the Big out.
Why? because that would lock the Big out of the above market. A shot across the bow of the Big,
