A little about SMU that’s not been mentioned…
I used to live in Dallas and SMU is just not just Texas … many students are from the rich suburbs of Chicago and many other places in the Midwest.
So the TV footprint is more than just Texas.
Having said that, I do feel a little uncomfortable bringing these schools in that have so much more resources than we do.
In the long term, I’m not sure I want theses camels getting their noses under our tent. 🥺
