I'm beginning to wonder if SMU is part of a play for some big 12 schools

Landing SMU, OK St and 2 from (Baylor, Houston, TT, TCU) would give you 18. Big 12 then picks up the last 4 pack 12 teams to replace what we took. 3 6 Team pods Central Pod SMU, OK St, Texas team 1, Texas Team 2, UL, FSU Mid Atlantic Pod UNC, NCST, Duke, Wake, UVA, VT Everyone else pod Miami, Pitt, Cuse, BC, Clemson GT Play the 5 teams in your pod and 2 each from other pods, and 1 rival for 9 games a year
