The Big 12's Men’s Basketball Tipoff was wrapping up on Wednesday afternoon when a potential bombshell report from Ari Temkin, host of Big 12 Now on SiriusXM Radio. According to Temkin, Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark hinted that the league could have an announcement concerning a new television agreement soon. Yormark said that a decision will come from the Big 12 “in the next couple of weeks.” And more in the article. Two weeks is a lot less than the 16 months he estimated it would take in the article I posted just yesterday! Gotta wonder what the terms and conditions will be and how much money $$$$$ Big 12 schools will get per year. On the other hand, this might be just a decision to stick with ESPN &/or Fox Sports and not approach other potential carriers including Amazon and no actual announcement of deal specifics at all.
