But what am I missing about the last school listed above. I have no great hatred or animosity to the University of Virginia. I realize they have a very established program for most sports, wonderful reputation for academics, they are accomplished in basketball and baseball, but is this not a football driven expansion? I don’t think UVA checks that box on the field. Fan support? You can leave that box empty. TV viewers? I might not know enough about it but I can’t see how they would deliver more than us with our heavy population in northern Virginia. I guess I’m just a little curious why they are listed so universally as one of the top four? Wouldn’t that be a little bit like Vanderbilt or perhaps Northwestern being listed as one of the top four in their conference? I’m just not sure what they would bring to any football expansion more than our own school would? Again I’m no expert so I’m just asking. I’m well aware that they have a great reputation overall as a school but are they looking to be the new Rutgers or Maryland or Vanderbilt in the next round of expansion? Someone help me out. Thanks
