you have a large portion of the most valuable football brands in your conference - which they are about 80% of the way there, you could agrue. I have said for a few years now, to not sleep on basketball - the SEC started investing heavily in basketball about 5-6 years ago, and they did not do it because they like to throw $ around. There will come a time in the future when the P2 turn their attention on the NCAA Tourney Pot O'Gold and they will demand a larger share of that pot - you think they like sharing that pot with the Dayton's of the world - nope. Do I think that there will be a separation between the P2 and the NCAA Basketball Tourney - probably not. Could I see the P2 playing brinkmanship in order to get a larger share of that pot - you betcha!!!! - especially if the P2 has UNC, UVA, Duke, Kansas, and some other "basketball" schools. You guys need to be looking 3-5 years down the road on where this is all heading.
