that they have lost a potential revenue stream. It seems wrong at some levels. Particularly if the school is a public school and located in a state that allows taxpayers' dollar to fund collegiate athletics in some way. People don't seem thrilled about the idea of the P2s doing their own thing for multiple reasons. If the G6s are forced to cut sports and the cuts drop them below the DI threshold, then it could have the same unintended consequence. Plus, there are certain non-revenue sports that are heavily depended upon the G6s and other non-P2 schools to have enough teams so the sport can qualify as a NCAA sponsored sport. If enough non-revenue sports lose their NCAA status because not enough DI teams sponsor the sport, then what are the implications as it relates to Title IX?
