I love Tech and think it's a good school ....

to attend but NC State/Raleigh has a huge advanatge over Tech/Blacksburg when it comes to research and business. NC State doesn't have to build a campus outside of their main campus to attract more revenue. Tech has to go to NOVA. It's impressive that Tech does as well as it does in reserach and development. Just imagine if Tech were located in a more populated area with better transportation. Raleigh will add another 800,000 people in 25 years. It's the second fastest growing mteropolitan region in the nation behind Austin. NC State has a very bright future. If I were to invest in Tech or NC State, I'd go with State even though I'm a Tech grad. If Roanoke and the NRV were comparable to Charlotte, I'd go with Tech.
