I’m thinking 2/3 might be the thing

75% is 12 schools. That’s never happening. 9 schools is 67%. That’s the max I can see going B1G and SEC. No more than that have value. ND, Clemson, FSU, Miami are the top 4. UNC, VT, UVA are the next 3 Then NCST and GT have potential value. That’s your 9. There is Duke with basketball but their football stadium seats, what, 35k? And it rarely has more than 10-15k at games. That’s a non starter, IMO. BC, Pitt, Syracuse, Wake and Louisville will never be invited to either the B1G or the SEC, for whatever reason. Too small, too private, terrible football support, lousy academics (yeah that’s you Louisville), you name it. So, 9 teams leave and that’s 2/3. I’m betting lawyers could argue their way out of the GOR fairly easy with that majority.
