WRT the reasons why UNLV isn't on the ACC's radar, I will give you the ONE

reason which ends the discussion before it has a chance to get off the ground. It may even be where the ACC and the Big XII differ in its potential targets. 1. ACADEMICS I believe UNLV's academic rankings are worse than L'ville's rankings. Even if UNLV is somehow ranked higher than L'ville, it probably still wouldn't be enough to shake off the perception people have about UNLV's academic standards. At this point in time, being a member of the AAU might be the only thing that would change people's perception about UNLV's academic standards.
