Oh I agree with you it probably is the best example. The Boise State game

and the Matty Ice Comeback may be a close second and/or third. I watched Mr Destiny over the weekend and I couldn't help to see similarities with the VT program. At one point I zoned out of the movie because I was wondering what VT's trajectory could have been if VT had found a way to beat Kansas, or Boise St, or BC, or Michigan, or Auburn, or Georgia or even USC (with or without the phantom offensive PI). I would like to think the conversations would be a lot different because the program would be in a much better place even with the chaos going on around it. Not so much in terms of whether I think Pry & Co. have the program headed in the right direction, but more about how confident I am as to whether VT has a spot at the P2 table or not. I think everyone can present sound arguments as to why VT should have a spot at the P2 table and why VT could be left out. Even though I would be okay if VT didn't end up in a P2 conference, a part of me will always wonder what VT could have achieved if it had been given that opportunity. In some ways it would be similar to the P2 officials robbing VT of a Sugar Bowl victory because I believe VT could achieve great things in a P2 conference.
