Would Duke be a target for SEC expansion? How about VT or NCST?

Question for you as an SEC fan - do you think the SEC would ever move to

Why would the SEC jettison the only private school in the conference?
mrcaniac 06/21/24 10:07 AM ET
I think that "only one in a state" is bogus
VTCALS72 06/20/24 05:34 PM ET
I agree 1 state theory is living in the Cable Hookup model, it’s the past,
Stech 06/20/24 08:50 PM ET
The SEC does not have to play defense. the Big 10 is not a threat.**
Big12 guy 06/20/24 05:11 PM ET
Agree - at least in their current from the B1G isn't a threat.
VPI_1998 06/21/24 06:47 AM ET
I think the B1G is a long-tern threat to the SEC. So, which happens first?
Maroon Baboon 06/20/24 07:29 PM ET
What is long term?........
2hhoop3 06/20/24 08:05 PM ET
A decade or more. But keep in mind, it could be the other way around, too.**
Maroon Baboon 06/20/24 08:18 PM ET
OK, so explain it to me. What are the Big 10 and SEC in competition for? To

I hope the SEC and BIG are asking, what can our partnership produce

The top Big 10 schools currently have zero problems recruiting in Florida.

Ohio State & Michigan May Presently Have Some Success Recruiting in Florida

Actually, it doesn’t.

The Big 10 getting a school in Florida will not negate the SEC's

I do have a lot of respect for G5 schools, but that has absolutely nothing

Not that big a threat? A threat to do what?**
33laszlo99 06/20/24 05:23 PM ET
No conference is a threat to the SEC. They just have to do what
Big12 guy 06/20/24 05:51 PM ET
They stay in the ACC IMHO, but it will be an Academic Conference Champions
Stech 06/20/24 03:04 PM ET
It seems they'd be more likely to end up in the Big East than SEC.**

This feels a lot like the Chewbacca defense to me

VT would be the top football program in the BigXII.
