I also think you're failing to consider what the ACC would do if FSU and Clemson leave. They'd backfill those spots with more dead weight garbage like SMU. Eventually, the TV contract will have to be re-negotiated, and it will be an absolute blood bath. Media partners are only going to pay for the content they actually want; they don't care how the money is divvied up by the conference. And, with an ACC full of tiny private schools and G5 backfills, with very little appetizing football content, if the pie is split equally, they'll be looking at something like a $15-20 million per school media rights payout. You can see it coming as clear as day.
