Let’s not forget,

VT was still paying off the Big East entrance fee when it joined the ACC. Also, the Big East, where VT was the only school to vote against kicking out a member (Temple). How long did it take for them to add VT as a full member after twisting in the wind of the A10, 8 years? Thanks to Beamer and Vick for the Big East giving any measure of respect to VT.
