That’s right, P2 will grab what they want, and eventually break off 🏈🏀4💵

I am more and more thinking that the P2 will kick out some schools too, because they don’t generate enough ratings/💵. Then the remaining ACC, B12 and G6 that didn’t get invited to the P2 will have their own 🏈 playoff and probably 🏀 tournament too. Maybe in basketball the top two face off for the Division 1 National Championship, or maybe the P2 doesn’t want to risk losing, and they don’t play. I don’t know right now, but as a Virginian and older adult, I remember when William and Mary and the University of Richmond played at the same level as the University of Virginia and Virginia Tech. They battled a lot for the same High School recruits. They even beat UVA and Tech in games too. When W&M and UR split off to the D1AA, I didn’t like it, even though I went to Tech. Now I look back at it and think it’s wonderful. W&M and UR have maintained stellar Academics and both have made the playoffs, Richmond even won the National Championship under the current William and Mary coach. So there is a lot of good that came out of it. Consequently if we are going there, let’s stop beating around the bush, and just go there.

Josh Pate, likely no change in 2025 PO seeding, 4-4-2-2-1-1 likely for 26.

My take

The ACC has no such option. **

What option?**

To make any decision against the P2 without checking with

Going against the P2 is a technically possible but unrealistic option

I agree with your last statement, but to be clear,

Do not disagree with that either......

Their biggest impediment at this point is ESPN

If each of the P4 went to 18 teams, it could work well in the long run.
hokieZ71 02/22/25 09:12 AM ET
do you honestly think a P4 really exist anymore? **
VTCALS72 02/24/25 08:41 AM ET
A couple questions regarding your proposal.
VTHokie2000 02/22/25 09:27 AM ET
#1. Exactly, for football. But it matters for other sports.
hokieZ71 02/22/25 10:28 AM ET
I doubt you could come up with a strong enough sales pitch to convince VT
VTHokie2000 02/22/25 11:16 AM ET
What the heck? Why would that happen?**
hokieZ71 02/22/25 12:42 PM ET
As I stated previously it would happen because the ACC wanted to make sure
