Exactly and that is why they want to be sure we don't get in the same/equal

league as them. UNC has no fear of UVA in football so that is ok for them. Another schools that doesn't want us on equal footing is MD. They have no fear of going to battle against the SEC with UVA carrying the banner but they don't want to have to compete with VT carrying the SEC banner. IMHO if football matters and winning fans to win viewership, is the metric, VT is miles ahead of UVA. I am also not sure that NCSU, carrying the SEC banner couldn't win NC over a Big 10 UNC. Just my opinion but IIWII
