there is a separate football playoff, or a separate basketball tournament - A league like that will have to share revenue with each other - and that takes every bit of advantage that the P2 has over all the other Universities. Right now, they have most of the football money, a huge competitive advantage, the best time slots, and power to shape things as they want. I'm not at all convinced a break away league will give them more money, and they lose their competitive advantage if the are constantly playing each other. For now, we will have to live with the disparities, but a consolidation of all the blue bloods has never happened before - let's see how this plays out for a while, and see what happens. For instance - do you think Wisconsin has a better chance of making the playoffs now, or worse? Do you think that Florida has a better chance of winning a Natty now? If you guys can't find a way to keep FSU - kick them to the curb, and focus on winning the ACC crown.
