Certainly if we were dividing up those 8 then yes, that would be how I would think it could go. And I think that would be the best return for the SEC. But the thing is there are so many variables. There are a lot of schools of thought out there that say VT, NCSU are not SEC/Big material. So my WAG is that VT and NCSU have about a 40% chance of making the P2 and it is as high as it is because of politics. Hopefully especially the SEC will remember and know that under all the supposed "evaluations" we were really not valued by the supposed bigger name schools at the time we were trying to get into the BE and the same again with the ACC. We turned out to be the most underrated school of them all winning league championships etc. My greatest fear is that conditions lead to us ending up in the Big 12, not because they are a bad football conference but because it is such a bad fit for both the B12 and VT. Us going to the big 12 would probably mean that we would be ringed in by the P2 and again be in the position we were even in the BE, as an outsider in an inferior conference in our own state.
