Memphis used to be Memphis State, they are a State school, they have

potential and may be considered too. However, we both agree on UConn, now the next place the ACC needs to be is replace Florida State. I think USF would do that nicely. They aren’t a Power School now, but like UCF and Cincinnati in the right conference with the right exposure, they certainly can be. San Diego State is in an incredible market and has great potential in the right conference in both football and basketball. Oregon State and Washington State are from the PAC. Oregon State has made BCS/NYD bowls. Their football over time has done better than maybe anybody out of the 4 Corners, except Utah. If ND wants private schools, both Tulane and Rice would be in markets they recruit. I think in the right conference they could be good not great in football, but I think with their location, in the right conference, they could be great in basketball. Again, ESPN lost the B1G in all sports and the Big 12 in basketball, they are going to need a lower cost content, they have the ACCN, I just think they have as good of a chance surviving as the Big 12. That’s even if the Mag 7+1 leave, and even if Virginia Tech leaves them, I think that.
