How is it not keeping the deal?

That sounds like a FSU argument that the ACC didn't keep the deal because the Big and SEC moved so far ahead. That argument may have some validity if there were only 3 to begin with and the ACC was the only one left behind. But this Big and SEC moving ahead is less the ACC or PAC or B12 and more just how the media wants it. And as for SMU, Stanford and Cal, I believe ESPN "placed those 3 in the ACC and the "four corner schools" in the B12 to hold for a short time so they can re establish a real regional conference or division on the west coast.
