No guarantee ND gets to keep playing USC every year with them in the B1G

I could see the Big 10 putting their foot down and saying no more scheduling games with ND. If you want to still play games in California for recruiting purposes, this may be your best option. ** Edited by tarheelblue at 8/7/2023, 5:23:34 PM

Cal and Stanford could join for football only

interesting side bar, if Stanford joins the ACC do their game count to ND
Mercury 08/07/23 08:59 PM ET
It should count if it's in the normal rotation. It won't count if it isn't.

For expansion does everybody have the vote yes?
goldendomer 08/07/23 05:59 PM ET
75% majority vote to add schools to the ACC. So you need 12 votes out of 15
tarheelblue 08/07/23 06:02 PM ET
We would vote yes**
goldendomer 08/07/23 06:07 PM ET
I have a feeling Tech would vote "yes" because....

I don't like it still , but as long as it doesn't add another game to
goldendomer 08/07/23 05:38 PM ET
I think there is not much to like with the craziness going on.

It is pure madness at this point**
goldendomer 08/07/23 05:54 PM ET
I agree. At least ND has been able to keep control of their situation for

Why? It’s like the opposite of Notre Dame. There’s (opposite) precedent.**

Why not?**
Stech 08/07/23 05:09 PM ET
If it was Oregon or Washington sure. Cal is a bottom feeder.
goldendomer 08/07/23 05:11 PM ET
Cal is also apparently in debt up to its eyeballs
Marooned 08/07/23 06:16 PM ET
Why do you care? It won't affect ND at all.**
tarheelblue 08/07/23 05:12 PM ET
We have to play Cal and hopefully Stanford was off our schedule
goldendomer 08/07/23 05:19 PM ET
I thought ND liked playing them every year. It guarantee them a west coast

zero chance the Big Ten would do that. They'll have that game on one of
reestuart 08/07/23 05:35 PM ET
NBC is broadcast partner for both
TerryD 08/07/23 06:48 PM ET
The B1G has NBC now, so they could easily keep that going.**
Stech 08/07/23 05:24 PM ET
We will leave the ACC before we drop USc**
goldendomer 08/07/23 05:23 PM ET
ND leaving gets us all closer to the endgame. I wish it’d all just happen**
hokieZ71 08/07/23 06:00 PM ET
This would be my reaction to the former**
VPI_1998 08/07/23 05:33 PM ET
