Yes, you are correct and I mentioned that in one of my posts. However, the

discussion evolved into does Notre Dame want to play in both NoCal (i.e. Stanford) and SoCal (i.e. USC) or does it matter? Remember reestuart suggested that Notre Dame could trade its annual game with Stanford for UCLA now that UCLA and USC are joining the Big Ten. I questioned whether Notre Dame is interested in that plan given that both UCLA and USC are SoCal schools. Hence why I suggested in another post that Notre Dame may want to play opponents from both regions of the state for recruiting purposes.

He is correct..it's a money issue at this point with the B10 and IND status**

No surprise. What will be interesting is the length of their contract
HokieAl 08/16/22 06:38 PM ET
Doesn't affect the 5 ACC games/yr unless ND buys out of them.

I guess they will only have the 330 window if B1G has 730**

They played 6 ACC schools in 2015 and this was the make up year.**

4 this year, 6 next year. Contract calls for "an average" of 5 games per yr**

If the ACC set up the scheduling against Notre Dame as a "cycle," then this

So how much more can ND really schedule B1G schools

Well USC will become a Big Ten Game. Do they drop Stanford for UCLA?
HOO86 08/16/22 01:53 PM ET
I'd bet they drop Stanford, and home/away with USC/UCLA is alternated

It is worth noting that NoCal has several good/great HS football programs

Could the decision be tied to the ACC GOR and ND's contractual committment

No, it's tied to money
