If the ACC loses its top 4 to 6 teams, I seriously doubt they will be able

To keep up with the big 12 financially. The Big 12 has done a good job recovering from losing their top two elite teams. By the time the ACC loses it's top two elite teams, there's not going to be much to pick from for recovery. And there's going to be more than two teams trying to leave. Don't know how successful other schools will be in trying to get invites. But I do believe there's a reasonable chance the ACC falls clearly behind the big 12.
