I remember a sister that had spent some time on the west coast. She talked of chicken costing more in a Little Rock grocery store than in LA. Poultry houses all over NW Arkansas. I use to drive trucks up there and use to see those numerous poultry huge buildings in NW Arkansas. Housing is cheap here compared to Virginia, Texas and many other regions of the country. I remember a sister was paying nearly $3,000 monthly on an apartment in Arlington, Virginia. Not even that nice an apartment, it was government subsidized housing. Most tenants paid a tiny percentage of what my sis was paying. She had a high government clearance, I can not even state her job title here. I have some acreage about 40 miles north of Little Rock. I lived up there rural for nearly 30 years. I have gotten at least a dozen mailed offerings from reality companies wanting to buy my property since the Covid Lockdowns. Most reality companies making those offers are from the Northeast. My property was worth $5,000 an acre in the late 1970's. I know those reality companies would not even pay that. They use to say that new changes in society bounce back & forth off the east & west coast for a decade before they finally land in Arkansas. I am an advanced record collector along with several other hobbies. I use to collect psychedelia, rock & metal. Along with the AOR & Euro Metal sub genies in music. I am surely the only Euro Metal collector in Arkansas. I sell records these days. I have four mailings scheduled to go out tomorrow so far. All except one going to California, it is going to Florida. I sell about 75% to California. The rest to the Northeast, up around the Great Lakes, then a few to Florida & Texas. I did send one to Georgia. One went to Oklahoma, a Van Halen record. I have never sold a record in five years to Alabama, Mississippi or Louisiana. I have not ever sold one to anybody in Arkansas.
