Which is why, the BIG taking the PAC and SEC taking ACC makes sense

more than any poaching individual teams. They can both then pick at the bones of the Big12. Fox conference and ESPN conference. Boom, the P5/G5 BS goes away, all the big schools that have invested state money stay on the revenue train so the state governments and congress critters don't decide to "fix" things. And you don't lose the interest of 50% of college sports fans who are already on the fence and if their team ends up in the Big12 are going to kick college sports onto the same pay no mind list that he kicked the NBA 30 years ago and the NFL a decade ago (yeah that's me, but I bet there are a lot like me out there).
