Yep. If the goal is to make everyone besides the SEC/B10 irrelevant

then they're going to cut the overall audience by a large margin. Fans of smaller schools just aren't going to give up and adopt an SEC team like ESPN wants. The ONLY reason I care about college football at all is VT is involved. As far as sports leagues go, NCAA football is hands down the worst in the country. No parity, no coherence, laughable playoff structure, special treatment for big programs, etc. If VT gets relegated to G5 status (so to speak) then I'll happily check-out of the sport entirely.
